Rising Miasma, Sorcery, designed by Deruchenko Alexander first released in May, 2020 in the set Battle for Zendikar. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.61.
A deck focused on controlling the board with creature removal and land-based strategies, such as a Golgari or Jund deck in Magic: The Gathering, would benefit from including Rising Miasma. While it can serve as a board wipe by reducing the power and toughness of all creatures, the Awaken ability provides additional value by turning a land into a creature with +1/+1 counters. However, there are arguably better cards for similar effects, such as Damnation or Languish, which offer more efficient board wipes without the additional land animation aspect. Whether Rising Miasma should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck it's being considered for.

Awaken doesn’t give the land you control a color. As most lands are colorless, in most cases the resulting land creature will also be colorless.
08/25/15
If the non-awaken part of the spell doesn’t require a target and you cast the spell for its awaken cost, then the spell won’t resolve if the target land you control becomes illegal before the spell resolves (such as due to being destroyed in response to the spell being cast).
08/25/15
If the non-awaken part of the spell requires a target, you must choose a legal target. You can’t cast the spell if you can’t choose a legal target for each instance of the word “target” (though you only need a legal target for the awaken ability if you’re casting the spell for its awaken cost).
08/25/15
If you cast Rising Miasma for its awaken cost, creatures will get -2/-2 before the land you targeted is turned into a creature. Unless it was already a land creature before Rising Miasma started resolving, it won’t get -2/-2.
