Shuttle Ace is best suited to a casual white tap/untap, Vehicles, or lifegain deck, where repeated tapping can turn its trigger into incremental life while its conditional flying helps it attack safely on your turn; however, at five mana for what is effectively a 2-life trigger (its power and toughness are not provided), it is generally too slow and low-impact for competitive Constructed play. Better options depend on the format: in Commander, Crested Sunmare-style lifegain payoffs or efficient repeatable sources such as Soul Warden and Authority of the Consuls generate value much earlier, while tap-focused decks get stronger payoffs from creatures such as Emmara, Soul of the Accord; if you specifically need an evasive white creature, cards like Serra Angel provide reliable flying without waiting for your turn.
