**Tenderize** is best suited for a green midrange or creature-heavy deck—especially one built around large creatures, +1/+1 counters, or fight-damage synergies—since it functions as efficient creature removal by turning your creature’s power into direct damage without requiring it to take damage back (unlike traditional “fight” cards). Decks like Stompy, Gruul Aggro, or Selesnya Counters would benefit most, particularly if they consistently have high-power creatures on board.
