Artistic Process would fit best in a midrange or spells-matter Izzet (blue-red) deck that can leverage modal flexibility, especially one that values reach and token pressure, such as Izzet Tempo, Izzet Spells, or a more casual Elemental-themed build; its strength lies in versatility—either efficient single-target removal (6 damage kills most creatures), a light sweeper against go-wide decks, or a hasty evasive threat to close games—but at five mana it competes with stronger, more efficient options like Glorybringer (which provides repeatable removal and a 4/4 flying body), Burn Down the House (a more impactful sweeper or multiple bodies), or even Crackle with Power in spell-heavy builds as a scalable finisher, making Artistic Process playable in casual or flexible midrange shells but likely below the power curve for competitive formats where five-mana spells must heavily swing the game immediately.
