A deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a black sacrifice deck or a graveyard-based strategy, would benefit from using Carrion in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better cards like Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder that provide more value and synergy in sacrifice strategies. While Carrion can be situationally useful, it may not see widespread play due to more efficient options available in the format.
