A deck focused on artifact synergy, such as an artifact-heavy deck in a Commander format, would benefit from including Copper Gnomes as it provides a way to cheat artifact cards onto the battlefield. While Copper Gnomes can be a useful card in certain strategies, there are more efficient options available like Goblin Welder or Trash for Treasure that offer similar effects at a lower cost, making them better choices in most cases. However, if the deck is looking for redundancy or additional ways to cheat artifacts into play, Copper Gnomes could still see play as a niche card in specific builds.
