This card would be beneficial in a black deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value and card advantage. Decks that revolve around sacrificing creatures, such as Aristocrats or Sacrifice decks, would find Corrupted Conviction useful for drawing additional cards while fueling their strategy. However, there are better cards like Altar's Reap or Village Rites that provide similar effects at a lower cost and without the need to sacrifice a creature.
