About Culling Mark
Culling Mark, Sorcery, designed by Tomasz Jedruszek first released in Feb, 2014 in the set Born of the Gods. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 21.52.
A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and combat manipulation would benefit from including Culling Mark. This card can force an opponent's creature to block, potentially opening up opportunities for favorable trades or dealing direct damage to the opponent. However, there are better cards available for similar effects, such as Lure or Taunt, which provide more control over blocking decisions. Overall, while Culling Mark can have its uses in specific situations, it may not be a top choice for competitive play compared to other options.
Rules
02/01/14
The creature blocks only if it’s able to do so as the declare blockers step begins. If, at that time, the creature is tapped, it’s affected by a spell or ability that says it can’t block, or no creatures are attacking its controller or a planeswalker controlled by that player, then it doesn’t block. If there’s a cost associated with having the creature block, the player isn’t forced to pay that cost. If that cost isn’t paid, the creature won’t block.
