About Decoy Gambit

Decoy Gambit, Instant, designed by Ravenna Tran first released in Apr, 2020 in the set Commander 2020 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 30.09.

This card, Decoy Gambit, would benefit a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's board state by bouncing their creatures back to their hand while gaining card advantage. However, there are better options available such as Cyclonic Rift, which has a more impactful effect for a similar mana cost. Decoy Gambit may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited utility compared to other cards in the format.

As the Decoy Gambit resolves, first the next opponent in turn order (or, if it’s an opponent’s turn, the opponent whose turn it is) chooses whether you’ll draw a card or return their creature that was targeted to its owner’s hand, then each other opponent in turn order does so knowing the choices made before them. After all choices are made, you draw the appropriate number of cards. After you’ve drawn, the appropriate creatures are all simultaneously returned to their owners’ hands.
