A deck that focuses on controlling a high number of Mountains would benefit from using Eternal Flame, as it can deal significant damage to opponents or planeswalkers. However, there are better options available such as Banefire, which offers more flexibility and doesn't damage you in the process. While Eternal Flame could see play in specific Mountain-heavy decks, it may not be the most optimal choice compared to other cards with similar effects.
