A deck based on ramp and land destruction would benefit from Gorilla Pack in order to ensure the opponent always has a Forest in play for it to attack. However, there are likely better options for a green creature in Magic: the Gathering, such as Tarmogoyf or Scavenging Ooze, which offer more versatility and power. While Gorilla Pack could fit a niche strategy, it may not see widespread play in competitive decks.
