About Inner Demon

A deck focused on aggressive, creature-based strategies, particularly one that aims to quickly close out games with flying creatures, would benefit from using Inner Demon. The card provides a significant power boost and evasion to the enchanted creature while also weakening the opponent's board presence with its enter-the-battlefield effect. However, in a more control-oriented deck that doesn't rely heavily on creatures, Inner Demon may not be as impactful as other options available, such as removal spells or card draw engines.

Inner Demon’s triggered ability affects only non-Demon creatures on the battlefield at the time it resolves. Creatures that enter the battlefield later in the turn won’t get -2/-2. Unless Inner Demon leaves the battlefield before that ability resolves, the enchanted creature won’t get -2/-2.
