This card, Interdict, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting opponents' strategies by shutting down key activated abilities. While it has its uses, more versatile and efficient options like Counterspell or Negate may be preferred in many situations. However, in a meta where activated abilities play a significant role, Interdict could see play as a sideboard option for specific matchups.
