A control deck in Magic: The Gathering would benefit from using Ixalan's Binding as it provides a strong removal option and can disrupt your opponent's game plan by preventing them from casting spells with the same name as the exiled card. While there may be better removal options available, Ixalan's Binding can still be a valuable addition to a control deck's strategy, especially against decks that rely on key cards with duplicate names.
