A deck focused on generating a wide board presence with a lot of untapped creatures, such as a token or go-wide strategy, would benefit most from Marshaling the Troops in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are potentially better cards for gaining life efficiently, such as Feed the Clan or Collective Brutality, which offer more significant life gain for a similar cost.
