About Planetary Patrol

Planetary Patrol would fit best in an aggressive red landfall, Gruul landfall, or budget creature deck that can play multiple lands or fetch lands in a turn, since it can repeatedly grow while attacking; however, without knowing its power, toughness, and creature type, it is difficult to evaluate precisely, and if it is merely an average-sized creature, it is probably weaker than established options such as Plated Geopede, which costs the same and gets +2/+2 from landfall while also having first strike, or Akoum Hellhound, which costs only one red mana and also gains +2/+2 from landfall. Unless Planetary Patrol has unusually strong base stats or additional abilities, it likely would not see play in competitive Constructed formats, though it could be a reasonable Limited card or casual inclusion in a landfall-themed deck.
