About Plasm Capture

Plasm Capture, Instant, designed by Chase Stone first released in May, 2020 in the set Dragon's Maze and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 18.31.

A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and efficiently, such as a Simic ramp or control deck, would benefit from using Plasm Capture. While Plasm Capture can be a powerful tool for generating mana advantage, some players may prefer more versatile counterspells like Mana Drain or Force of Will, which provide immediate benefits without requiring an additional turn to utilize the mana. Ultimately, Plasm Capture could see play in certain metagames or strategies that prioritize mana acceleration and control elements.

If the countered spell had in its mana cost, include the value chosen for that X when determining how much mana to add to your pool. For example, if you counter a spell that costs with X equal to 5, you’ll add six mana to your mana pool.
