A deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Black-based sacrifice deck, would benefit from using Mind Swords. While it offers a unique way to cast the spell by sacrificing a creature if you control a Swamp, there are potentially better cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that provide more immediate and impactful hand disruption. Mind Swords may not see much play in competitive settings due to its limitations compared to other hand disruption options available.
