Colorless Ultimatum, Sorcery, designed by first released in May, 2026 in the set Unknown Event.
Colorless Ultimatum would fit best in a colorless or Eldrazi “big mana” deck—think Tron in Modern, Eldrazi Ramp in Commander, or any build using Sol lands, Urza lands, or heavy artifact acceleration—because the heavy {C}{C}{C} requirement pushes you toward true colorless sources and the payoff (temporary annihilator 1 for your board) is strongest when you already have multiple large creatures ready to attack; the exile-half-a-library clause is mostly incidental in 60‑card formats (often not immediately lethal) but can pressure slower Commander pods. That said, it’s likely too slow and win‑more compared to established options: Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is generally better as it permanently exiles 20 cards on cast and is a massive, resilient threat; Rise of the Eldrazi or other extra-combat/overrun-style finishers often close games more reliably; and in mill strategies, cards like Tasha’s Hideous Laughter or Maddening Cacophony are more efficient.
