A deck that focuses on mana fixing and ramping, such as a multicolor deck or a deck with high-cost spells, would benefit from including Lantern of Revealing. While Lantern of Revealing provides some utility with its mana generation and library manipulation abilities, there are arguably better cards for similar purposes, such as Chromatic Lantern for mana fixing or Oracle of Mul Daya for ramping.
