Strongarm Tactics, Sorcery, designed by Greg Hildebrandt & Tim Hildebrandt first released in May, 2020 in the set Onslaught. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 34.71.
Strongarm Tactics would fit well in a discard-themed deck, particularly one that leverages the synergy of forcing opponents to discard while punishing them for not discarding creature cards, such as a Black control or midrange deck. This card is especially effective in formats where opponents may have fewer creature cards in hand, maximizing the life loss effect. However, there are stronger alternatives like Thoughtseize or Hymn to Tourach, which provide more targeted discard options without the life loss clause, or Liliana of the Veil, which offers repeatable discard and board control. While Strongarm Tactics can be a fun addition to certain strategies, it may not be optimal compared to these more powerful options, and its inclusion should be carefully considered based on the overall deck strategy.
