A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and has ways to untap lands, such as with cards like Exploration or Burgeoning, could benefit from using Jokulmorder. However, the high mana cost and the requirement to sacrifice lands upon entering the battlefield make it a risky choice. There are better options available in terms of efficiency and power level, such as Inkwell Leviathan or Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle, which offer similar effects without as many drawbacks.
