However, there are more efficient and versatile cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that offer targeted hand disruption without the limitation of only being able to choose nonland cards. While Every Hope Shall Vanish can be situationally useful, it may not be the optimal choice for competitive play due to its narrow focus and higher mana cost.
