About Spelunking

Spelunking, Enchantment, designed by Ernanda Souza first released in October 2023 in the set Lost Caverns of Ixalan. It see play in 4 formats: Modern, Pioneer, Standard and Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 248.17.

This card would benefit a green-based ramp or landfall deck that focuses on quickly ramping up mana and gaining life. While Spelunking offers card draw, land acceleration, and life gain, it may not be as efficient as other cards like Explore or Cultivate, which provide similar benefits without the condition of having a Cave card in hand. However, in a deck specifically designed to take advantage of its abilities, Spelunking could see play as a fun and thematic inclusion.

If a land has an ability that says it enters the battlefield tapped, you choose the order in which that ability's effect and Spelunking's effect apply. This means you can choose to have the land enter tapped or untapped. If a land you control is simply put onto the battlefield tapped without a replacement effect being applied, it always enters untapped if you control Spelunking.

If Spelunking would enter the battlefield at the same time a land you control would enter the battlefield tapped, that land still enters the battlefield tapped.
