About Thought Prison
Thought Prison, Artifact, designed by Glen Angus first released in May, 2020 in the set Mirrodin. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 21.73.
This card, Thought Prison, would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's strategy by removing key spells from their hand and punishing them for casting similar spells. However, there are potentially better options such as Ashiok, Dream Render or Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, which offer more versatile and consistent disruption abilities. Thought Prison could see play in specific metagames where punishing opponents for casting certain spells is particularly effective, but in general, it may not be a top choice for competitive decks.
Rules
12/01/04
The second ability triggers only once per spell. If the spell shares both a color and a converted mana cost with the imprinted card, Thought Prison deals 2 damage, not 4.
