**Tragedy Feaster** would fit best in an aggressive or midrange black deck that can reliably gain life each turn to negate its Infusion drawback—such as mono‑black lifegain, Orzhov (WB) lifedrain, or sacrifice/aristocrats shells that turn the “sacrifice a permanent” clause into upside with expendable tokens or death triggers. Decks using cards that passively gain life (e.g., repeatable lifelink creatures, drain effects, or Blood Artist–style engines) would support it well, while Ward—Discard a card makes it awkward for control decks to answer efficiently and Trample helps it close games.
