About Tromp the Domains

Tromp the Domains, Sorcery, designed by Mike Dringenberg first released in Oct, 2006 in the set Time Spiral and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 1.12.

This card would benefit a deck that focuses on having a diverse range of basic land types among its lands to maximize the +1/+1 bonus for creatures and grant them trample. Decks that run multiple colors and prioritize land ramp could make good use of Tromp the Domains. However, in a competitive setting, there are more efficient cards like Overrun or Craterhoof Behemoth that provide similar effects for a lower cost and with potentially greater impact, so Tromp the Domains may not see much play in high-level gameplay.

Domain abilities count the number of basic land types among lands you control, not how many lands you control or how many of any type.

Tromp the Domains affects only creatures you control at the time it resolves. Creatures you begin to control later in the turn won’t gain trample or get a power and toughness boost.

How many lands you control of a particular basic land type is irrelevant to a domain ability, as long as that number is greater than zero. As far as domain is concerned, ten Forests is the same as one Forest.
