A graveyard-focused deck that aims to fill the graveyard with land cards would benefit from using Turntimber Sower in Magic: the Gathering. The ability to create Plant creature tokens whenever land cards are put into the graveyard provides a steady stream of blockers or attackers, while the ability to return a land card from the graveyard to hand by sacrificing creatures can provide valuable land recursion. However, there may be better cards for similar strategies, such as Splendid Reclamation, which can return all land cards from the graveyard to the battlefield, offering a more powerful effect for the same mana cost. Turntimber Sower could see play in casual or budget decks, but may not be competitive enough for more competitive formats.

If multiple land cards are put into your graveyard at once, Turntimber Sower’s first ability triggers only once. This could happen because an effect put them there from your library at once, or because they were destroyed at the same time (such as two land creatures that were dealt lethal combat damage), for example.
