Wild Hypothesis would fit best in a Simic (green-blue) ramp or +1/+1 counters deck that can generate large amounts of mana and take advantage of scalable threats, especially in formats where you can reliably produce big X values; it’s particularly attractive in Commander, Standard-like midrange shells, or any build that cares about Fractals, +1/+1 counters, or graveyard setup.
