Wild Research can be a valuable tool in a deck focused on both enchantments and instants, providing card advantage and selection. However, its randomness in discarding a card may be a drawback for some strategies. Decks that can afford the risk of discarding cards at random and benefit greatly from tutoring for specific enchantments and instants may find Wild Research useful, but more competitive options like Enlightened Tutor or Mystical Tutor may offer more consistent and efficient ways to search for specific cards without the downside of random discards.
