A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting opponents' strategies would benefit from including Worldpurge, as it provides a powerful reset by returning all permanents to their owners' hands. However, there are other cards like Cyclonic Rift that offer similar effects for a lower mana cost and with more flexibility, making them potentially better options in most situations. Worldpurge could see play in specific niche strategies that require a mass reset, but in general, there are more efficient alternatives available.
