A deck that focuses on drawing a lot of cards, such as a blue control deck or a combo deck centered around card advantage, would benefit from Jace's Erasure. However, there are better cards with similar effects, like Sphinx's Tutelage, which mills multiple cards instead of just one. Jace's Erasure could see play in a more budget or casual deck, but in competitive settings, other options may be more efficient.
