Wizards of the Coast has unveiled Secret Lair x MSCHF: The Zeta Set, a Magic: The Gathering release created in partnership with New York art collective MSCHF. The product will be available through the Chaos Vault website on September 2, 2026, at noon Eastern Time.

The release pairs sought-after reprints with visual treatments inspired by 1992 Gamma playtest cards. The key difference is the format: The Zeta Set will be sold in randomized booster packs. Each pack will cost US$ 19.92.

According to the announcement, this is the first Secret Lair release to feature full-fledged boosters, containing common, uncommon, rare and mythic rare cards. Previous releases in the line have included one- or two-card boosters, but none with this rarity structure.

The reprinted cards in the packs remain legal only in the formats where they are already permitted. The common rarity shown in some previews will also not affect cards' Pauper legality: Secret Lair reprints are not intended to change the format.

Each customer may purchase up to 12 boosters, while supplies last.
