About Aethertow
Aethertow, Instant, designed by Warren Mahy first released in May, 2008 in the set Shadowmoor and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 5.75.
A control deck focused on stalling the opponent's attacks would benefit from including Aethertow in its strategy, as it provides a versatile removal option for problematic creatures. While Aethertow can be effective in certain situations, there are arguably better options available such as Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares which offer more permanent solutions to creature threats. However, Aethertow could still see play in decks looking for additional tempo plays or ways to disrupt the opponent's combat phase.
