About Algorithmic Ferocity
Algorithmic Ferocity, Sorcery, designed by Andrey Kuzinskiy first released in May, 2026 in the set Alchemy: Secrets of Strixhaven.
Algorithmic Ferocity fits best in a mono‑green or green‑based midrange/ramp deck that plays a high density of 4+ mana spells—big creatures, top‑end threats, or expensive interaction—so it can reliably grant a sizable power boost while using indestructible to win a fight and remove an opposing creature; it’s especially appealing in decks that naturally hold a few expensive cards in hand (like ramp or “big green” shells) and that value creature-based removal. That said, it competes with very efficient fight/protection spells such as **Blizzard Brawl**, **Inscription of Abundance**, **Tail Swipe**, and **Tamiyo’s Safekeeping**, many of which are cheaper, more flexible, or less conditional, and it also faces comparison to premium green removal like **Prizefight** or even non-fight options in multicolor builds. Because its power boost depends on hand composition and it requires both a solid creature and a valid opposing target, it’s somewhat situational; it could see play in Standard or Pio
