Alpha Authority would be a great addition to a green aggro deck looking to protect a key creature and ensure it can't be easily chump-blocked. However, there are better options like Rancor or Spider Umbra that offer additional benefits such as trample or totem armor. While Alpha Authority has its niche uses, it may not see as much play in competitive decks compared to alternatives that provide more versatile advantages.
