A deck that focuses on stalling the game and controlling the board would benefit from including Fog in its strategy, as it can effectively prevent combat damage for a turn. However, there are better cards like Settle the Wreckage or Aetherize that not only prevent combat damage but also provide additional benefits such as exiling attacking creatures or bouncing them back to their owner's hand. While Fog can be situationally useful, these other cards offer more versatile and impactful options, making them more likely choices for competitive play.
