About Lotus-Eye Mystics

Lotus-Eye Mystics, Creature — human monk, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 6.32.

Lotus-Eye Mystics would be a great addition to a white-based enchantment deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it not only provides a body with prowess to benefit from casting noncreature spells but also allows you to recur valuable enchantments from your graveyard. While there may be more powerful options available, such as Auramancer for dedicated enchantment recursion or Monastery Mentor for a more aggressive prowess strategy, Lotus-Eye Mystics can certainly find a place in decks looking to leverage enchantments and spellcasting synergies.

Rules

Any spell you cast that doesn’t have the type creature will cause prowess to trigger. If a spell has multiple types, and one of those types is creature (such as an artifact creature), casting it won’t cause prowess to trigger. Playing a land also won’t cause prowess to trigger.

Prowess goes on the stack on top of the spell that caused it to trigger. It will resolve before that spell.
