This card would benefit a graveyard-focused deck that aims to fill up its graveyard quickly to meet the threshold requirement for the activation. While Battlefield Scrounger can be a decent inclusion in such a deck for its potential to become a sizable threat, there are likely better options available that offer more consistent and impactful effects, such as Tarmogoyf or Hooting Mandrills, making it less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
