About Stet, Draconic Proofreader
Stet, Draconic Proofreader, Legendary creature — dragon bureaucrat, designed by Dmitry Burmak first released in Jan, 2020 in the set Unsanctioned. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 7.99.
Stet, Draconic Proofreader would be a unique addition to a red-blue control deck in Magic: the Gathering, offering both removal and disruption capabilities. While its ability to deal damage based on the first letter of exiled cards adds a fun twist, its high mana cost and situational effect may limit its overall effectiveness compared to more versatile and efficient cards in the format. Players may find better options for similar effects in cards like Snapcaster Mage or Vendilion Clique, which offer more consistent value and impact on the game.
Rules
02/29/20
A permanent or card in another zone with no name (including face-down creatures, ____________, and ones whose name Stet has decided to fully delete) can’t begin with the same letter as anything else. If _______ is exiled this way, Stet won’t deal any damage. Similarly, Stet won’t deal damage to any creature with no name, no matter what card was exiled.
