About Thing Swing

Thing Swing, Instant, designed by Alex Horley-Orlandelli first released in Jun, 2026 in the set Marvel Super Heroes Commander.

**Thing Swing** fits best in a green-based aggressive or midrange deck—especially one built around **Hero creatures or Hero tribal synergies**—because it becomes very efficient at **{1}{G}** when targeting a Hero you control, turning a large creature into a massive removal spell that deals *double* its power in damage. That makes it strongest in decks that go tall (pump spells, +1/+1 counters, equipment, or high base-power creatures), since doubling power scales extremely well with buffs.
