Basri's Acolyte would be a great addition to a white weenie or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a solid body with lifelink and the ability to buff other creatures upon entering the battlefield. While there may be other cards with similar effects, such as Benalish Marshal or Leonin Warleader, Basri's Acolyte can shine in a deck focused on quickly building a board presence and gaining life to outlast opponents. It should definitely see play in decks looking to establish early board control and maintain a strong life total.
