About Corrupt
Corrupt, Sorcery, designed by Vincent Evans first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 16 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 7212.83.
A mono-black control deck would benefit the most from including Corrupt in its strategy, as it rewards the player for controlling a high number of Swamps and provides both damage and life gain. While Corrupt can be powerful in the right deck, there are better cards that offer similar effects, such as Exsanguinate, which can deal damage to multiple targets and gain life based on the total amount of mana spent. Whether Corrupt should see play depends on the specific deck's strategy and synergy with other cards, but it can be a strong inclusion in a Swamp-heavy control deck.
