The Lantern of Undersight would benefit a deck that focuses on manipulating the order of cards in the library, such as a mill deck or a deck that wants to access specific cards at the bottom of the library. However, there are better cards like Lantern of Insight or Lantern of Insight that offer more versatile or powerful effects, so Lantern of Undersight may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.

If an effect refers to the top card of your library, it doesn’t refer to the bottom card of your library while you control Lantern of Undersight. Lantern of Undersight affects only how you draw cards.
