A deck that focuses on filling the graveyard quickly, such as a self-mill or graveyard recursion deck, would benefit from using Mystic Zealot. However, there are better options available like Serra Angel which has flying and a higher base power/toughness without the condition of needing cards in the graveyard. Mystic Zealot could see play in casual or thematic decks, but in competitive settings, there are more efficient choices to consider.
