About Processing Plant
Processing Plant, Land — ulamog's power-plant, designed by Thomas Ricci first released in August 2024 in the set Mystery Booster 2. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 14566.19.
A control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's resources and graveyard interactions would benefit from using Processing Plant in Magic: the Gathering. While the card offers a unique ability to manipulate exile and graveyard zones, there are better options available in the current card pool that provide more efficient and versatile effects for a similar cost, such as Field of Ruin or Ghost Quarter. Processing Plant may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other land options.

For many playtest cards, you’ll need to make a generous assumption that basic game rules would be updated to allow them to work. The Mystery Booster 2 Playtest Card Notes section (reproduced here in individual Gatherer rulings) provides guidance for fitting these cards into the existing rules structure.

Players can respond to Processing Plant’s second ability as normal, but once it starts resolving and you decide whether to put a card from exile into its owner’s graveyard, it’s too late for anyone to respond.

Playtest cards aren’t legal for play in any tournament format other than Mystery Booster Limited formats. On the other hand, we expect they will spice up a wide variety of non-tournament games (as long as everyone’s on the same page about using them!).

Playtest cards use a modified version of game symbols, such as {T} and {W}. These modified symbols should be treated as the standard symbols during play.
