About Shapeshifter's Marrow

Shapeshifter's Marrow, Enchantment, designed by Chippy first released in May, 2007 in the set Future Sight. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 6.74.

A deck that focuses on controlling the opponent's creatures or graveyard, such as a Dimir or Grixis control deck, would benefit from using Shapeshifter's Marrow. While this card offers a unique and potentially powerful effect, it may not be as reliable or versatile as other options like Lazav, Dimir Mastermind or Clever Impersonator, which can copy any permanent on the battlefield. In a Two-Headed Giant game, this ability triggers separately for each player at the start of the opposing team’s turn. If the first ability to resolve reveals a creature card, Shapeshifter’s Marrow becomes a creature. If the second ability to resolve also reveals a creature card, the ex-Shapeshifter’s Marrow then becomes a copy of that creature.
