However, there are better dual lands available, such as Overgrown Tomb, which can produce both colors of mana without requiring a specific condition to be met. Tainted Wood may see play in budget decks or in specific strategies that heavily rely on Swamp synergy, but in most cases, more versatile dual lands are preferred.
