About Workshop Elders

Workshop Elders, Creature — human artificer, designed by Iain McCaig first released in Sep, 2019 in the set Throne of Eldraine and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 5976.31.

The Workshop Elders card would benefit a deck focused on artifact creatures and artifacts with activated abilities, as it provides flying to all artifact creatures and can turn noncreature artifacts into powerful creatures with +1/+1 counters. While Workshop Elders is a strong card for artifact-based strategies, there may be better options such as Steel Overseer or Master of Etherium that offer more consistent and impactful effects. However, Workshop Elders could still see play in a deck looking to enhance its artifact creatures and surprise opponents with sudden threats.

If another effect later causes the artifact to become a creature and sets its power and toughness as it does so, that creature will have that base power and toughness; it won’t be 0/0. Notably, crewing a Vehicle does not set its power and toughness, so a Vehicle’s base power and toughness remain 0/0 if you crew it.
