About Workshop Elders

Workshop Elders, Creature — human artificer, designed by Iain McCaig first released in Sep, 2019 in the set Throne of Eldraine and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.25.

This Workshop Elders card would be a great addition to an artifact-focused deck in Magic: the Gathering, particularly one that aims to have a strong presence of flying creatures and utilizes noncreature artifacts. It offers a versatile ability to turn noncreature artifacts into powerful creatures with a significant boost in power. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Workshop Elders could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on artifact synergy and evasion through flying.

If another effect later causes the artifact to become a creature and sets its power and toughness as it does so, that creature will have that base power and toughness; it won’t be 0/0. Notably, crewing a Vehicle does not set its power and toughness, so a Vehicle’s base power and toughness remain 0/0 if you crew it.

The effect of Workshop Elders’s triggered ability lasts indefinitely. It doesn’t wear off during the cleanup step.
